There is no feeling more disheartening than the realization that you are to blame for the thick skin and scars of a loved one.

We’ve been working on a release entitled “Echoes of Reinvention”. The release consists of a selection of songs from 2008’s Reinventing the Heartbeat. What started off as an interesting idea and exciting creative exercise for us has transformed into the realization that revisiting these songs may not be creating alternate versions but actually finishing the process… completing their journey. Maybe because of my involvement with this music I’m not the best judge, but I feel as if we’re scraping away the layers and finding what these songs were supposed to be all along… Who knew that looking backwards would help us find inspiration in moving forward.
